Effective November 11th, 2019 Mr. Chong Chee Kwang (C.K.) has been appointed to the new position of General Manager, Asia Operations. C.K. will be located at our Dongguan factory and have leadership responsibility for all of Eastek’s operations in Asia. C.K. brings 30 years of experience in full manufacturing operations management with a strong business sense and analytical skills. Please join us in welcoming C.K. to the Eastek family.
Effective November 18th, 2019 Mr. Roger Lam has been appointed to the new position of Global Purchasing Director. Roger will be located at our Dongguan factory and have leadership responsibility for all Purchasing and related operations in Asia. Roger brings 20 years of experience in a broad range of business functions from Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics, Project Management, Manufacturing and Engineering in fast-paced Tier 1 automotive/EMS/OEM and Consumer Electronics Industries. Effective December 2nd, 2019 Mr. Wyman Wang has been appointed to the new position of Deputy General Manager and Operations Director at our Dongguan factory. Wyman will have leadership responsibility for all manufacturing departments including metal stamping, injection mold tooling, injection molding, electronics assembly and ME engineering. Wyman brings 23 years of in-depth experience in both high-tech and traditional manufacturing companies including products in the computer, telecom, automotive and heavy equipment industries. Effective December 31st, 2019 Ms. Debby Lau, acting Dongguan Site Leader will be retiring. Debby joined Eastek in April 1998 as the Purchasing Manager for Preo (HK). Shortly after she began to take on numerous additional responsibilities including RFQs, Program Management, PMC, Customer Service and compliance with China Material Contracts. Over three years ago, Debby was appointed as the acting Site Leader for DG and managed the team through a significant number of major product launches, customer visits and certification audits. With sincere gratitude and recognition for her contributions to Eastek, we wish Debby well in her retirement and all future endeavors. Please join us in congratulating Debby on her retirement and in thanking her for over 20 years of dedicated service to the Eastek organization.
