Collaborating, growing together and serving our customers better through partnerships

The Eastek family, like most families, has grown over the years. Our partnerships involve more than just shaking hands, signing on the dotted line and combining businesses. When we partner with a company, we agree to collaborate, grow together and serve our customers better.

Partnerships should not only benefit the companies involved, they should benefit the customers by providing more services, higher standards of quality and greater cost efficiency. We take that seriously; it’s part of who we are.

Eastek's Partner Promise

“A customer partnership begins with a mutual understanding of what services are needed by the customer and the confidence of the manufacturer to meet those specific requirements. In the simplest terms: Is there a fit?

As soon as the fit is determined then a roadmap can be created to achieve goals for both the customer and manufacturer. This roadmap will include everything required to create a profitable partnership, including a commitment by both companies to deliver the resources needed to be successful.

Once the manufacturing process begins, ongoing participation is required by both teams to continually adjust to address obstacles that are part of day-to-day operations.”

Our Partnership with Phillips Medisize

In 2007, Eastek International and Phillips Medisize Corporation launched a joint venture – WahTsun Far East Ltd. – a tool manufacturing company in China. The partnership enabled Phillips access to high-quality, low-cost tool fabrication as well as a partner in China that specializes in low-cost assembly services. In turn, it enabled Eastek to offer better and lower-cost tool fabrication to our customers, further enhancing our design and prototyping capabilities.

At the time Phillips’ President and COO said this about the partnership: “Phillips’ exports currently exceed $59 million annually, including shipments to Mexico, Europe and China; however, the joint venture with Eastek expanded our reach by providing lower cost alternatives to our customers without compromising the quality and service they have come to expect. We completed an extensive search to find a Far East partner that shares Phillips’ commitment to technology, quality and service and we found that in Eastek.”

“As Phillips and Eastek share both their experience and their innovations, we will continue to provide the kind of industry-leading services our customers know they can count on from our organizations.”

“The joint venture with Eastek expands our global footprint to help us better serve our domestic customers.”
